According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the estimated value of agricultural, forestry and fishery exports in January of 2021 was 3.49 billion USD, up by 27.1 percent over the same period of 2020.
In which, the export value of main agricultural products were estimated at 1.6 billion USD, up by 28.9 percent; livestock export value was estimated at 26 million USD, up by 3 percent; fishery export value was estimated at 600 million USD, increasing by 19.6 percent; the export value of major forest products was estimated at 1.33 billion USD, up by 47.8 percent.

The estimated total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery exports in January of 2021 of Vietnam to markets in all regions increased. In which, the value of exports to Africa increased by (+ 89.2 percent), to Oceania increased by (+ 39.9 percent), to America increased by (+ 38.8 percent), to Asia increased by (+ 28.6 percent) and to Europe increased by (+ 11.3 percent) over the same period of 2020, reaching 70 million USD, 62 million USD, 1.02 billion USD, 1.88 billion USD and 429 million USD, respectively:
The United States, China, Japan and Korea were the four largest import markets for Vietnam’s agricultural, forestry and fishery products, with 26.8 percent market share (the value increased 42.2 percent over the same period in 2020); 25.4 percent (+ 38.6 percent); 8.3 percent (+ 25.6 percent) and 5.7 percent (+ 20.9 percent).
